Our Story

My name is Carrie Carlsen I have an adorable son Grayson aka the successor.  I have always been a creative person. I excelled in all art classes throughout my schooling and continued on as an adult.  Between painting and drawing to crafting. I found my real passion was working with leather. I am a horse person and I found myself taking old tack that was worn and weathered and restoring it to its original or almost original beauty was fascinating. That led into me making tack which led into making purses, and wallets, etc. It was a total snowball effect. I always talked with my mom about starting a business with her because she was an amazing seamstress and made clothes and repaired clothing in her spare time. It wasn't until 2019 she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and unfortunately passed away July of 2020. That hit me because the idea of starting a side business with my  mom would no longer be a reality. So I did it on my own and in her memory on the items that I make there is a little note to her in the form of a hummingbird stamp. It may not be easily seen but it is there because she is the reason I pushed myself for this business. In the future I hope this is something my son with want to learn and grow with. He already loves to help work on his leather pieces and sometimes helps on some of my projects.

My goal is to provide quality leather goods and help restore items to their natural beauty.

Thank you for visiting my shop and reading my story.
